Jessica Parker "hopeful" on movie plans
Published Tuesday, Jul 10 2007, 13:50 BST | By Alex Fletcher

The TV star told Elle magazine: "I am hopeful. I believe this time it's going to happen.
"I really wanted it to happen a few years ago and it was a bitter pill to swallow that it didn't."
She claimed that it was cast member Kim Cattrall who had initially been reticent towards plans for a movie.
The actress, who plays journalist Carrie Bradshaw in the series, added: You have to respect people's decision. And one of us didn't want to do it at the time, meaning Kim Cattrall, for reasons that I didn't ask. It's not for me to talk anybody into anything ever - creatively, financially or whatever."
Cattrall has reportedly had a change of heart over her decision, with filming rumoured to be starting this September.
