DiCaprio to play Hugh Hefner on screen?

Leonardo DiCaprio has started to make plans to film a biopic about Hugh Hefner and has told him he would like to play out his life on the big screen.

The Aviator actor has been friends with the notorious playboy for a number of years and has made frequent visits to his Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles.

Leonardo has been thinking about playing the 81-year-old in a movie adaptation, but would like to do it while he is still alive and can watch the result for himself.

A source said: "Leo and Hugh have been friends for a long time and Leo has always been interested in Hugh's life story. Leo thinks it would make a great movie and Hugh would love Leo to do it - on condition Hugh is alive to see it."
