Brody felt intimidated by Meg Ryan
Adam Brody felt intimidated acting alongside Meg Ryan in his new movie In The Land Of Women.

The former O.C. actor had a kissing scene with Meg in the film, but worried about how he would compare to her former co-stars Tom Hanks and Russell Crowe.

"It was a little intimidating when I started thinking about the fact that she has acted opposite some of the best actors of a generation," Adam explained. "Like, 'Oh man, I hope she's not incredibly bummed that I'm not Russell Crowe or Tom Hanks.' But it's great when you finish a scene and you feel as though you're holding your own."

Brody added that he is looking forward to a change of image after finishing work on The O.C. - as he is no longer banned from growing a beard.

"I'm going to grow the best beard I can," he vowed. "I've had to shave everyday for four years and I've never been more excited not to shave - I've dreamt about this. Granted, it'll be a pretty pathetic beard, but I'm going to give it my best shot."
