Natalie Portman has ended speculation that she was to appear naked in her latest film Goya's Ghost, explaining that she employed a body double for the role.
Portman told Movies.com: "There's a long nude shot of a woman, but it's not me. You do see some parts of me unclothed, but if they end up in a website making it look like I'm nude, I'm going to be really, really angry."
Reports had suggested that the Closer actress was set to strip off for a scene in the film, which is about Spanish painter Francisco Goya.
Denying she took the role to alter her Hollywood image, she said: "I didn't do the scene in order to prove something. I just want to get on with my life and do what feels right."
