Guy Ritchie has made plans to turn comic series The Gamekeeper into a film and wants to direct it himself.
The story follows The Gamekeeper who is trying to track down the killer of his son by using his expert knowledge of the animal kingdom.
It was part of the Virgin Comics' Director's Cut, a series of stories from film makers and was based on an idea by Ritchie but written by author Andy Diggle.
Warner's production president, Jeff Robinov, said about the plans: "After reading Guy's comics, we knew instantly that the action-packed story and complex characters would resonate with film audiences."
