'Shrek Four' given 2010 release date

DreamWorks Animation is already working on the follow up movie to Shrek the Third, with a release date of 2010 penciled in.

The movie, which has working title The Next Shrek, is the fourth movie in the franchise and there are also reportedly plans for a fifth.

The production company is aiming for a May release of the movie, the same month that the third film was released.

The third film in the series grossed $718.7 million dollars worldwide, and included guest stars such as Justin Timberlake, Ian McShane and Eric Idle.
