Jim Broadbent and Miranda Richardson have joined the cast of a new movie about Queen Victoria's first years on the throne.
The Young Victoria has already signed Emily Blunt as Her Majesty and Rupert Friend as Prince Albert.
Broadbent will take the role of King William IV, who preceded Victoria, and Richardson will play the queen's mother, The Duchess of Kent.
It is to be produced by Martin Scorsese and Graham King. It was brought to the attention of King by Sarah Ferguson, the real Duchess of York, who will also be credited as a producer.
Jean-Marc Vallee will direct and the script has been written by Julian Fellowes.
