Damon, Pitt Hollywood's "best value"
Matt Damon and Brad Pitt are the best value film stars in Hollywood, according to a survey by Forbes.com.

The magazine website calculated how much income actors made back for films they appeared in for its "Ultimate Star Payback" list.

For every pound Damon was paid in his last three roles he brought in an average £14.50 back, says the website. Damon's first two Bourne movies took an estimated £425 million and the third last week made £35.1 million at the US box office.

Pitt came second with a £12 return for every pound paid and was followed by Vince Vaughn and Johnny Depp, tied at third, with £10.50 per pound shelled out.

Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston was fifth, returning £8.50, and his current partner Angelina Jolie sixth at £7.50.

Michael Ozanian, editor, said the results showed value for money was not always reflected in celebrity status: "The biggest stars in Hollywood are not the actors that deliver the biggest returns."
