Chris Noth, the actor who played Carrie Bradshaw's on/off partner in Sex and the City, has signed up to have a 'big' part in the film version of the hit show.
The actor played the character in the small screen version for six years and now he has been lined up to appear alongside the show's stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis.
Writer and director of the show, Michael Patrick King, said: "There is no need for funeral arrangements. I assure you that Mr Big is a very 'big' part of the Sex and the City movie.
"While I have not spoken to him myself, Chris Noth assures me that Mr Big is alive and well and ready to report to the set in September."
The storyline for the movie has not yet been revealed.
