Casting has begun on the sequel to 1980's hit film The Lost Boys, but the film will probably go straight on to a DVD format.
The film about a small family moving to a small Californian town only to encounter a group of vampire youths was led by 24 actor Kiefer Sutherland in 1987.
New movie The Tribe will centre around a group of surfers hanging out in a seaside town and will have Sutherland's half-brother Angus replacing his part in the story.
Filming is thought to be starting in a few weeks time in Vancouver.
