Imbruglia switches back to acting career

Pop singer Natalie Imbruglia has revealed that she moving back to a career in acting after landing a role in new Australian movie Elise.
Imbruglia released her latest single 'Glorious' last week, but has said she is now keen to get back on the big screen.
Talking about her role, she told The Sun: "It is a really gritty role based on a novel. I'm going to play a girl whose sister died when she was really young. I'm so excited about acting again.
"It's been a long time. I'm not going to be turning my back on music. I'll be back by the end of the year working on my next album."
The actress-turned-singer announced last weak that she was having concerns about her performance in the movie.
The former Neighbours actress has switched between music and acting on several occasions. She originally left the popular Aussie soap to embark on a singing career, releasing the number one single Torn in 1997.
The Aussie star then then returned to her thespian work with a big screen role in the British Comedy Johnny English alongside Rowan Atkinson.
