Former Home and Away actress Melissa George has signed up to star in a new action movie.
The ex-soap star will feature in Stopping Power alongside John Cusack and Jason Isaacs, who plays Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies.
Speed creator Jan De Bont directs the film, which will see George playing Cusack's girlfriend as he attempts to save his kidnapped daughter. They will start shooting the film in Berlin next month.
George starred as the character Angel Parish in the Aussie soap between 1993 and 1996.
