Russell Crowe to star in 'Batman' movie

Russell Crowe will make an appearance in the next Batman movie, The Dark Knight.

Lead actor Christian Bale announced the news during an interview to promote his new film 3:10 To Yuma, which also stars Crowe.

"Russell's going to actually be in the new Batman movie, which is a big surprise and I want to reveal it to everybody right now," Bale told iF magazine.

The Dark Knight is expected to be released in July 2008.
