Owen Wilson has dropped out of a film that he was due to start filming in a few weeks' time, alongside Ben Stiller.
The actor had signed to appear in comic movie Tropic Thunder, directed by and starring Stiller, and was scheduled to complete a week-long filming.
But following Wilson's hospitalisation after a suspected suicide attempt, Variety reports that the pair mutually agreed it would be best if he were left out of the film.
Tropic Thunder centres around a group of famous actors that are filming a war movie and end up being forced into a real combat situation.
Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr are currently shooting scenes for the film in Hawaii, but it is unclear whether Wilson's part will be re-cast or left out all together.
