'The Goonies' to be made into animation?

Plans have been made to make hit 1980s classic film The Goonies into an animated series.
Discussions have previously undergone about making a movie sequel to the 1985 cult family movie, but it is the first time an animated version has been proposed.
Corey Feldman, who starred in the original film alongside Sean Astin and Josh Brolin, revealed the plans, saying: "Right now they are talking about the idea of doing it as an animated series."
