Perelman to direct Jolie's new film

Vadim Perelman has signed up to rewrite and direct Angelina Jolie's new movie, Atlas Shrugged.
According to Variety, Perelman will work from a draft of the script which was penned by Braveheart's screenwriter Randall Wallace. Randall will remain involved with the project.
Production on the movie, which is based on Ayn Rand's 1957 novel, is likely to start early next year.
The story follows the consequences of a worldwide strike involving industrialists and thinkers.
Perelman made his feature film directorial debut with House of Sand and Fog in 2003.
