'Gladiator'
Lurhmann's latest movie, which stars Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman, is being filmed in the outback of Australia, and Crowe set up some stables at his Sydney home to help the director shoot the movie.
However, the Gladiator star is apparently unimpressed that Luhrmann hasn't returned the favour by granting him a part in the epic.
Crowe is quoted as saying: "I was going to be in that film and I was happy to build the stables. But the way things turned out we didn't do it together - and no one's paid me."
