Schwimmer reveals UK film problems

David Schwimmer has spoken about the many difficulties he had filming his new movie Run Fat Boy Run in the UK.

The Friends star has revealed the country's unpredictable weather combined with the low budget given to make the movie made it a difficult task to complete the film.

Schwimmer told BBC radio show The Ticket: "The biggest difference is that on a sit-com, you're on a soundstage so you have this controlled environment. You never have to worry about the two biggest variables when you're on location - which are sound and weather."

"We has over 50 locations around London on this film, and England is not known for its predictable weather - which was quite a challenge, especially when we're making a film on a tight budget."

He added: "A tight budget makes every day count. If you don't get the shot, or get the scene done on that day you're pretty screwed."

Run Fat Boy Run is Schwimmer's directorial debut and features his The Big Nothing co-star Simon Pegg in the lead role.
