Metcalfe signs up for horror movie

Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe has signed up to appear in new horror movie Insanitarium alongside a number of big US TV stars.

Prison Break's Peter Stomare, Lost's Kiele Sanchez and Ugly Betty's Kevin Sussman have already joined the cast, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Metcalfe will play a man who pretends to be insane so that he can save his sister, played by Sanchez, from becoming committed involuntarily.

Once he enters the facility, however, he realises that one of the doctors, played by Stormare, has been testing drugs on the patients which is turning them into flesh-eating killers.
