Norton and Pitt to reunite on screen
Edward Norton and Brad Pitt have signed up to star in a film together for the first time since 1999 movie Fight Club.

Norton will appear as a congressman who rises quickly within politics, leading to an investigation over the death of his mistress in political thriller State of Play.

Pitt will star alongside Norton as his journalist friend Cal McCaffrey, who then decides to investigate the circumstances surrounding the scandal.

The film is based on a British television series of the same title and will be directed by The Last King of Scotland's Kevin MacDonald.

State of Play is due to begin filming in November.
