Gyllenhaal, Maguire for Afghanistan film

The movie, which is a remake of a Danish film called Brothers, tells the tale of two brothers, one of whom is sent to fight in Afghanistan and returns with post-traumatic stress disorder.
Maguire will reportedly play the soldier, while Gyllenhaal will play the younger brother who remains at home taking care of his sister-in-law and nieces.
Filming is due to start in November, with Jim Sheridan of My Left Foot and In The Name Of The Father fame directing.
