Pitt signs up for new boxing movie

According to Empire, the Fight Club actor will star alongside Mark Wahlberg in the film, which is based around the life of the famous Irish-American boxer Mickey Ward.
Pitt will play Dicky Eklund, the half-brother of the one-time World Lightweight Champion, who also had a successful career in the ring before he became involved with crime and ended up in prison.
Eklund was famed for helping Ward reach success in the ring after he was let out of jail. Wahlberg will play the part of Ward in the film.
The movie will be directed by Darren Aronofsky, with a script provided by 8 Mile's Scott Silver.
