Naomi Campbell has denied claims that she is to star in the opening sequence of upcoming horror movie Perfect Woman.

The supermodel was rumoured to be shooting scenes before the end of the year which would see her being murdered by a scientist, played by Darth Vader actor David Prowse.

Reports claimed she was hoping her role as a fame-hungry starlet would show her sense of humour and help win back fans after she was convicted of throwing a mobile phone at her maid earlier this year.

But the 37-year-old dismissed the reports, saying she will instead feature in director Spike Lee's new movie.

She said: "Horror?! There is a little something I'm doing, it's not horror, it's with a very famous director that we all love."
