Jackson signs up for 'Soul Men' comedy

Samuel L. Jackson has signed up to play a singing and dancing role in upcoming comedy Soul Men alongside Bernie Mac, who is in final negotiations.
The Snakes on a Plane actor will play a backing singer of a soul group which reunites twenty years after splitting.
Intolerable Cruelty writers Robert Ramsey and Matthew Stone are behind the script for the film, which was set up by Mac's management company. No director has yet been confirmed.
