Kilmer to play killer in prison movie

Val Kilmer is being lined up to star as a convicted killer in new movie Felon.
The Doors actor will play a family man surviving prison life after he is jailed for shooting an intruder in his home.
The film - which is directed by Ric Roman Waugh - will start shooting at the old Santa Fe State Penitentiary in New Mexico next month.
Sam Shepard, Anne Archer, Stephen Dorff, Lost actor Harold Perrineau and 24's Marisol Nichols are in talks to co-star, according to MovieHole.net.
