Clooney film delayed until next year

'Ocean's 12'

Leatherheads, a new film starring and directed by George Clooney, has been delayed until next year because he has other commitments to fulfill before he finishes the project.

The film was due to be released in America on December 7, but it has now been pushed back to April 2008 so that the Syriana actor can add extra footage and honour his other commitments.

The romantic drama, which stars Chicago actress Renée Zellweger, is based in the 1920s and centres around the early years of American football.
