Leonardo DiCaprio has reportedly signed up to star in film Farragut North, which will be directed by George Clooney.
The Departed actor would play the part of a young communications director who works for a presidential candidate. His character then experiences the pitfalls of being involved with the political campaign.
The movie will be based on the play by Beau Willimon.
Jake Gyllenhaal has reportedly been lined up to star in the leading role in a Broadway version of the story next year.
