Colin Firth has played down reports that he is to play Piers Morgan in a rumoured biopic.
Firth has been tipped to star as the America's Got Talent judge in a movie version of his book The Insider.
The bestselling book recalls Morgan's experiences as editor of the Daily Mirror and News Of The World.
But Firth insisted that there are no definite plans, saying: "I keep getting ambushed with Piers Morgan quotes. I love him dearly but I just don't know."
Firth was most recently seen alongside Jim Broadbent in And When Did You Last See Your Father?.
