Vanderbilt to write 'Spider-Man 4'
James Vanderbilt has landed the job of writing Spider-Man 4.

He replaces David Koepp, who produced scripts for the first two films in the franchise and returned to write a draft for the fourth.

According to Reuters, director Sam Raimi and stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst have not yet signed up for the movie.

Vanderbilt, who wrote crime thriller Zodiac, has reportedly been brought in to add more character-based storylines and move the film away from a special effects-driven narrative.
