Lenny Kravitz has signed up to make his movie debut as a nurse in an upcoming film called Push.

The rocker will appear alongside Mo'Nique and Paula Patton in the movie based on Sapphire's best-selling novel of the same name.

Monster's Ball producer Lee Daniel will make his directing debut in the feature film, which tells the story of a nurse (Kravitz) who helps out an overweight, illiterate African-American teenager in the Harlem district of New York.
