Sienna Miller has claimed that she plans to avoid Hollywood blockbusters in favour of taking less mainstream roles.

The actress, who appears in current film Stardust, follows in the footsteps of Keira Knightley, who also pledged to quit big movies earlier this year.

Miller said: "I'm no longer interested in being in big commercial films. I've really begun to avoid more mainstream things. I've realised that when I don't play people who are complex and flawed I get very, very bored, and then lazy."

Her The Edge of Love co-star, Knightley, also claimed a couple of months ago: "The celebrity thing's completely crazy. I think I just have to move away or give it up altogether."
