Kutcher, Pfeiffer for 'Personal Effects'

Ashton Kutcher and Michelle Pfeiffer have agreed to star in the Rick Moody adaptation Personal Effects.

The film, which is based around Moody's Mansion On The Hill novel, tells the tale of a young man trying to deal with the death of his sister.

Kutcher plays the man, Andrew Wakefield, who gets a job as a wedding planner soon after his sister's death, and then has to deal with flashbacks of her while he works.

It has not been revealed who Pfeiffer will play, although it is presumed that she will take the role of the older sister during flashback sequences.

Personal Effects begins shooting on November 26 in Vancouver.
