The Hollywood star admitted that his three-year-old son Charlie refuses to watch anything he acts in, because they're not "good enough".
Crowe is quoted as saying: "My children have never watched any of my films. Charlie knows that daddy makes movies, but he says they are not good enough for him to watch."
He confessed that his decision to take a role in an animated movie was in order to impress his two sons.
The Gladiator star added: "I will be working on an animated film shortly with Jeffrey Katzenberg - so I am hoping my kids will like it."
