'Bee Movie' tops US box office chart

Bee Movie has moved up the US box office chart to claim the number one slot.

The latest animated movie by DreamWorks toppled Ridley Scott's American Gangster, which lasted only one week at the top.

Vince Vaughn's festive comedy vehicle Fred Claus landed at number three, while Tom Cruise's political thriller Lions For Lambs bagged the number four slot.

The only other new entry was the Franck Khalfoun-directed horror P2, which went in at number eight.
