'3:10 to Yuma'
It was rumoured that the Batman Begins actor would star in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins in the role that was played by younger actor Nick Stahl in the previous film.
Now the rumours have been confirmed and Bale is said to be in final talks to sign up for the McG-directed movie.
No details have been given about the film but because of Bale and Stahl's relative ages, it is thought the fourth film in the franchise will be set a long time after the third one. It is also rumoured that Connor's character will only be a supporting role rather than the lead.
