Angelina Jolie has signed up to appear in a spy thriller based on the life of Kathi Lynn Austin, say reports.
Jolie will play the intelligence operative, who recently sold her story to Paramount.
Austin has worked for the UN Security Council in Africa, Europe, Asia and Central America during her career.
According to Variety, the film will be based around an illegal arms dealer, who was inspired by the Russian criminal Victor Bout.
The film has been described as "similar in spirit" to the Matt Damon Bourne trilogy.
