Amalric confirmed as 'Bond 22' villain

French actor Mathieu Amalric has confirmed that he is to play the villain in the next James Bond film.
Rumours claimed that the Diving Bell and the Butterfly star was the favourite to land the part of the bad guy.
Amalric has now revealed that he has signed for the part opposite Daniel Craig in the 007 film but he has not divulged any details about his part or the storyline, according to Empire.
Actress Eva Green, who starred in the last Bond film, has previously hinted that the next villain could be her character's boyfriend who was mentioned in Casino Royale.
