Batman to venture out of Gotham

'Batman Begins'
The Batman movie franchise has traditionally limited the eponymous hero to the bounds of Gotham, though 2005's Batman Begins widened the scope for alter ego Bruce Wayne with a plot strand originating in the East.
Speaking at a special teaser IMAX screening, producer Charles Roven revealed that Christopher Nolan's sequel would include a scene based at Hong Kong's IFC2 skyscraper.
"One of the things that we wanted to do with The Dark Knight was…to open it up and make Gotham feel like it was a real significant metropolis city in the world that we all live in," explained Roven.
"In terms of the tone and the style of the film…we wanted to still have that…hyper-reality feel about it. So, for the first time, Batman ventures out of Gotham."
The Dark Knight is due for release on July 25, 2008.
