'The Golden Compass' tops US chart
The Golden Compass has debuted at the top of the US box office chart, knocking Enchanted into second place.

Fred Claus moved up two places to number four and No Country For Old Men climbed up to sixth position.

Meanwhile Beowulf slipped three places down to five and Hitman dropped to number eight in the chart.
