'The Golden Compass' tops UK chart
The Golden Compass has debuted at the top of the UK box office chart, knocking Fred Claus off the number one spot.

Brad Pitt's movie The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford climbed two places to number eight and Aaja Nachle moved up one spot from eleven to ten.

Last week's top six movies all moved down one position in the chart.
