Leonardo DiCaprio has been given an honorary award in Morocco.
Director Martin Scorsese - who worked with the actor on Gangs of New York, The Aviator and The Departed - presented the Golden Star Award at the opening of the Marrakech Film Festival.
He praised DiCaprio for "always working till he breaks through the psychological depth of the character he has to play".
He added: "I never fail to be amazed by his clear and complete commitment to his work."
DiCaprio returned the compliment, calling the filmmaker a "legend".
The pair will reunite next year for new film Shutter Island.
