The Sound of Music has topped a new poll to find the 'Greatest Musical of All Time'.

The film, in which Julie Andrews plays a nun who takes a job as a governess to a Navy captain and his seven children in Austria, won an Oscar for Best Picture in 1965.

It scooped 15% of the vote in the survey by Twentieth Century Fox, beating Grease and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Mary Poppins finished in fourth place, followed by Moulin Rouge, Phantom of the Opera and The Wizard of Oz.

Oliver, West Side Story and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang completed the top ten.
