Producer Ash R Shah is making a movie about a polar bear at Berlin Zoo called Knut, and wants Suri to voice the lead part for the English version.
Shah revealed: "I see the heartwarming relationship between Knut and his caretaker, Thomas Doerflein, at the centre of the movie... Suri (Cruise) could speak the English voice of Knut."
Curator at the German zoo, Heiner Klös, was reportedly offered $5 million for the movie rights to the story. He said: "I can confirm that we received the offer and that we are giving it due consideration. When we have come to a decision, then we will handle the matter discreetly."
Suri Cruise visited the zoo recently with her mother while Tom Cruise was in the city shooting a movie.
Knut has been raised at the location for just over a year after his mother rejected him at birth.
He has since been photographed for the front cover of Vanity Fair magazine and his story has been turned into a book for children called Knut: How One Little Polar Bear Captivated the World.
