Vaughn cut Witherspoon sex scene

US reports have claimed that it was Vince Vaughn, rather than Reese Witherspoon, that cut sex scenes from their new film Four Christmases.

It was rumoured earlier this month that Witherspoon had demanded the intimate love scene in the film be scrapped because she wasn't happy with the idea.

However, it is now alleged that Vaughn, who is a producer on the film, made the decision to axe the love scenes.

A source told New York Daily News: "Vince is a producer on the movie and made sure that there was no sex scene between them in the film. She and Vince are professionals, but they both said no!"

Various sources have claimed that Vaughn and Witherspoon have clashed on set due to their different work ethics, with Vaughn preferring a more laid back attitude to his work.
