Heroes star Hayden Panettiere has landed a lead role in teen comedy Daydream Nation.
According to Variety, it is likely Kieran Culkin will star alongside Panettiere as her "oblivious boyfriend".
Michael Goldbach is directing the movie, which has been given a $10 million budget and is expected to start shooting later this year.
