Carey feared looking ugly in new film

The singer has to wear a prosthetic nose and fake bushy eyebrows in her role of Krystal the waitress in Aaron Woodley's new movie Tennessee.
Carey was reportedly upset with the makeover, but was persuaded to stick with the part because she wants to earn acting credibility following the critical panning of her biopic Glitter.
A source told the New York Daily News: "Mariah is the nicest person to work with - everyone loves her. But she was uncomfortable at being made ugly for the part.
"When she saw the nose, she called her people and decided against it [starring in the film]. She wasn't a diva about it, but she did seem very insecure about her appearance."
