Common confirms 'Justice League' role

He also revealed that he was confident the movie would begin shooting again "relatively soon".
The long-awaited film, which is based on the DC Comics creation from the 1960s, was shelved indefinitely due to screenplay and taxation issues last month.
Talking about his role, Common told MTV: "It's a blessing really, to know that I could potentially be this superhero.
"Justice League itself is an honour, and Green Lantern is an incredible character to play. It's a blessing to be associated with it. Just being a black person, a black man, playing a superhero is an honour in itself."
Adam Brody (The Flash), Armie Hammer Jr (Batman), Megan Gale (Wonder Woman) and Scott Porter (Superman) are all expected to star in the movie.
