Redford favours mobile phone distribution

Redford appeared at the Mobile World Congress with Isabella Rossellini, who screened her short film Green Porno, and talked about the possibilities presented by new technology.
"I'm obviously here because I'm excited by the new opportunities. Suddenly, there was a venue for short films," he told The Hollywood Reporter.
Redford was among a panel at the conference which discussed the best ways to get people watching mobile film and video and how to make it a profitable business.
The Lions For Lambs director noted that he "loved" watching short films in cinemas as a child but worries that funding won't be made available for mobile movies.
"The question is, who's going to be brave enough to support the innovators?" he added.
