Beyoncé added to 'Cadillac' movie
Beyoncé Knowles will executive produce and star in 1950s period movie Cadillac Records.

The film tells the story of Chicago-based record company Chess Records and the activities of the label's major stars, which included Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and Chuck Berry.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Knowles will play the role of Etta James.

Adrien Brody, Jeffrey Wright, Cedric the Entertainer, Columbus Short and Tammy Blanchard have also been confirmed among the cast.

The former Destiny's Child singer will write four songs for the movie's soundtrack, which is being produced by Steve Jordan.
