The Touchstone Pictures romantic comedy stars Isla Fisher as magazine writer Becky Bloomwood, who finds increasingly desperate ways to cope with her mounting debts.
According to Variety, Goodman and Cusack will play her parents. Hugh Dancy (Ella Enchanted) and Krysten Ritter (27 Dresses) are already on board as her editor and best friend respectively.
The film, based on the bestselling novel by Sophie Kinsella, will be directed by PJ Hogan and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
It will be shot in New York and Connecticut.
